The New Zealand Economics Papers is a fully peer-reviewed and internationally recognized scholarly journal whose main objective is to publish research articles on any aspect of economics and economic history. While the journal aims to be the primary outlet for high quality research in issues relevant to New Zealand in particular and Australasia in general, nevertheless the New Zealand Economic Papers is a general interest journal which welcomes papers in all areas of economics. The journal also publishes survey articles, book reviews, short notes and other contributions of general interest to members of the Association. The New Zealand Economic Papers is indexed in EconLit. Full text of articles is available via ABI/Inform Proquest (subscription required) and EBSCO Publishing (subscription required).

Here are the Guidelines for Authors wishing to submit a paper to the New Zealand Economic Papers. There is no submission fee.

We are now soliciting papers for a Special Issue of the New Zealand Economic Papers devoted to Experimental Economics. Papers in all areas of experimental or behavioral economics are welcome. This special issue will be edited by Charles Noussair (Tilburg University), Steven Tucker (University of Canterbury) and Maros Servatka (University of Canterbury). The tentative publication date for this Special Issue is June 2009. For more details on this special issue and submission guidelines please take a look at the Special Issue Announcement.
